The Farmer's Market meeting was not what I expected in two ways. First, it was short. It's apparently short because all the stuff to argue about is done at the meeting right after regular Market closes, so this one is just to make sure everything is covered for the new season. The only time there are long discussions, someone told me, is if they try to raise market stall prices. Then it becomes the long drawn out meeting that I expected. Apparently this meeting isn't one people typically bring food to, either. So my bagels were the only food item. And most were consumed. So all was good that way, and I know not to bother next time.

Soon as I have the household bagels eaten I'll do my first experiment with the new malt barley powder. I want to try it right away, but no sense wasting good bagels. Here's hoping that the powder works better, it's less messy and possibly cheaper. And I have several bags, since ordering just one for that much shipping didn't make sense. Worst case scenario, I can probably use it for other baking projects.

Kiyan is still a little under the weather, I may just keep him home another day since school doesn't go over well for someone who would rather be laying down and sleeping. I think most of the family feels that way.

And big thanks to jensixstones, I received the silver ax you sent me in Animal Crossing. I've started an ax coop beside the fountain so I can just toss regular ones there for the daily attempt to get a gold one from my own fountain, figure why carry them around when I can just pick one up from the pile? I've also started a major redecorating job on the house, turning the main room into a curio room, and upstairs into the kitchen I wish I really had in my real house.

An axe coop? How does leaving things on the ground outside work? Do they go into the lost and found after a while?

My latest accomplishment is to get to 29 thousand in my house rating :-) Woo! Now I need a really awesome flag to fly outside, having paid it off and all. Oh and I have a lighthouse in my town too.

:-)

Oh, and I got a fortune that said that if I fish for a Tuna in Cowtown that I will find more rare items. Maybe I can come fishing sometime?

LOVE the game!

In theory, at least in the old game, stuff left out may get picked up by characters. But I've never seen that happen, and seen dropped items stay for weeks at a time. Mostly it's so that I no longer have to carry around axes for my daily gold ax raffle ticket.

And you are always welcome to fish in Cowtown. I need to set up some party nights when everyone can come over. I still have a bunch of poppers from New Years Eve. Maybe I'll throw an AC un-birthday party or something.
