In Animal Crossing, I've paid off the house entirely, and have a changeable flag out front. Yesterday Marz and I went through and removed most of the non-fruit bearing trees, and the bulk of the peach trees (local fruit, worth 1/5 of the other fruit we acquired from other towns and planted). She shook all the trees but didn't pick up the fruit, then after a bit of time travel with had just about every tree with fruit in the branches and on the ground. It took me literally a couple hours of playing to get it all picked up and sold. By ditching just about everything else, you can carry about 24 pieces of fruit at a time. This is 8 trees worth. Most orchards have 15-20 trees, we have many orchards throughout the town. With fruit on the ground, that is doubled. Plus we removed most of the non fruit trees and replaced them with fruit trees.

I harvested probably around 700,000 bells worth of fruit today and tonight. Everything is paid off, I have a bit of surplus money, and even did a spot of time travel so all the trees are fruited again. But I'm done for tonight, no clue if I'll do more than play about 30 minutes tomorrow for regular maintenance stuff.
