virtual time traveling... [Jan. 1st, 2009|12:39 pm]

After talking with stuology about the mechanics of time travel in Animal Crossing, we've used this little loophole to speed along the game a touch. By resetting the time a couple days ahead, all the trees produce fruit, Nooks instead of being closed for remodeling was suddenly expanded, and the fountain paid for by town funds was suddenly built. And the great part? All this stuff is still there when I reset the date to the current day. No more issues among family members for picking all the fruit in the game (the biggest regular money maker in the game), with a simple 3-4 day travel into the future everything is restocked. Works for me.

The current goal is to get the golden axe from the fountain.

The current real world goal is to continue cleaning and reclaiming space in the kitchen. I've seen part of the top of the fridge for the first time in about 2 years.
